WBOI Presents: Live & Local at The Landing

We’re teaming up to bring live music back to The Landing with a summer series celebrating the best of our local music scene.

Join us the last Friday of each month from June through September, 7–9 PM, for outdoor performances, community vibes, and the perfect excuse to explore local restaurants and retail—with a DORA drink in hand! Plus, 89.1 WBOI Music hosts will be on-site each evening, bringing their signature community-driven energy to the event.

U.R.B. Live: On The Landing
Presented by Fort Wayne Metro Firefighters

Join us on Thursday, May 29 from 6 to 9 PM for a free outdoor concert on the 100 block of West Columbia Street in downtown Fort Wayne. Enjoy live music from U.R.B., a high-energy band known for their blend of funk, R&B, and soul.

This all-ages community event will feature two bars, plenty of space to dance, and an appearance from the Fort Wayne Metro Firefighters. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors for an evening of great music and good vibes in the heart of The Landing.

• BuskerFest Afterparty: Continue the celebration from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. at The Landing with a live DJ set from She Cut It and a high-energy street dance performance by Neustalgic Grooves. This afterparty is open to all and supported by the Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA).

On the Last Friday of each month, BonJo Studios and Blank Canvas Society bring the hottest art experience to Fort Wayne, and this month, they’re celebrating their one-year anniversary with a special event to highlight the year’s achievements.

This isn’t your typical gallery—say goodbye to silent walls and hello to high-energy vibes! The curators will showcase both local and national artists and their works, all available for purchase. Visitors can enjoy a cash bar, light finger foods, and explore new artists in a lively, interactive atmosphere. Don’t worry if you’re not an art expert—Last Friday is for everyone, whether you're into art or just looking for a fun night out with live music, dancing, and more.

Galentines 2025 at Mercado

Mercado is hosting Galentines 2025 in The Rose Room, an evening dedicated to creativity, friendship, and self-love. Attendees can choose from a variety of crafts designed to celebrate both personal growth and the bonds we share with our closest friends.

Night Train is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a special V-Day Pasta Party, offering a delicious Italian-inspired dinner for just $39.99 per person. The Local Archive is hosting Moms & Mocks, a private Galentine’s Day event designed for moms to enjoy a kid-free evening of relaxation and connection. Guests will be treated to bottomless mocktails, a beautifully curated tabletop charcuterie display, and a hands-on taper candle decorating experience. Each attendee will also receive personalized seating décor by Cedar Ink Calligraphy, a take-home mini bouquet, and access to a “glam for the gram” selfie station.

The Local Archive is bringing magic and the holidays to The Landing!

 The Night of Lights begins at 5:45 p.m., as Downtown businesses and organizations host a variety of family-friendly lightings paired with indoor and outdoor holiday activities. Complete the evening with the Parkview Field Holiday Fireworks Show. Join the crowds and embrace the holiday spirit during HolidayFest featuring the Night of Lights in Downtown Fort Wayne.

Join Dana’s for a Wake & Bake style brunch where they'll be making some classic and not classic breakfast items. Any kind of celebration means lots and lots of delicious food, and that’s even more true wake & bake style. 11am-3pm so you can sleep in a little. Dress comfortable and come hungry. Must be 21+.

Mark your calendars for October 12th because Creator Space, The Local Archive, and The Aimless Creators are teaming up for an evening of fall vibes, creative fun, and haunting surprises.

NeighborLink is hosting a 5K run on Friday, October 11th called Night Moves. The race will begin and end on The Landing. Mercado will host a before and after part outside with a beer tent. Bring your friends and family, then enjoy a night on the streets for a great cause.

It's time to brunch at Dana's again! Sunday October 6th we're doing their first pop-up brunch and they couldn't be more excited. They will serve a full menu of special treats, including chicken fried chicken. Naturally, there will be gravy on everything. It's 21+ only, and reservations are highly encouraged! We have challenged the most talented local bartenders to create original cocktail recipes & present them for a chance to win an all expenses paid trip to Oaxaca, Mexico. Join us as we watch them compete for the grand prize! Competition starts at 1pm, doors open at 12:30.
