Weather the Fort, presented by Downtown Fort Wayne and Horizon Bank, will return to The Landing on Saturday, February 17, from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m., for a day filled with family-friendly festivities for its ninth season. Enjoy this vibrant outdoor festival with interactive art, live music, alcoholic beverages, food, and fun, all while embracing the Indiana winter weather and experiencing the energy of Downtown Fort Wayne.

Purchase any beverage and enjoy complimentary raw oysters, courtesy of Dana’s. Dana’s and Night Train are Be Better Hospitality’s latest business ventures set to open on The Landing in early 2024.

The Taste of the Arts Festival will return to Downtown Fort Wayne on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 11 am to 6 pm. The festival, presented by Arts United and title sponsor 3Rivers Credit Union, celebrates the rich diversity of arts and culture in Northeast Indiana through live performances, kids activities, visual art, and food from local restaurants. Open Streets Fort Wayne is returning to downtown Fort Wayne on Sunday, August 7 from Noon to 4 PM!

Open Streets Fort Wayne will take place along the South Calhoun Street corridor from Superior to Pontiac streets and with connections to The Landing, Promenade Park and many neighborhoods along the way.

The free, community event provides participants with a safe space to bike, walk and play along the 1.5-mile corridor. There is something for people of all ages and cultures to enjoy together with games, music, food and much more planned.

The Landing is proud to partner with Humane Fort Wayne to host an adoption event in downtown Fort Wayne on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 12pm-3pm.

The event features adoptable pets, pet-centric vendors, and a community giveback program. Details below!

ADOPTABLE PETS

Potential adopters and attendees will be able to meet and spend time with dozens of adoptable cats, dogs, puppies, and kittens looking for their forever home.

All animals will be adopted on a first come, first served basis, but priority will be given to pre-approved adopters.

Note: Because of the event, the shelter at 4914 S. Hanna St will be closed to the public on Saturday June 25, 2022 and will re-open for normal business hours at 11:00 A.M. on Sunday, June 26, 2022.
